HCRTA Luncheon Meeting on Oct. 20 at the Elks

The Hardin Co. Retired Teacher Association will have a luncheon meeting on Friday, October 20, at the Kenton Elks.

The Dimensions from the Kenton Middle School , led by Maureen Leech, will perform. Since the choir will need to be back to school for classes, the HCRTA members are asked to arrive before 11:30 a.m. instead of noon. The choir will begin the performance at 11:30 a.m.

The committee of Chr. Joyce and Mike Hubbell, Billie Thompson, and Pat Ritchey have arranged a lunch of ham loaf, sweet potato, salad, cookies, and beverage for $9 plus tip. Call Joyce Hubbell at 419-674-7229 to RSVP by October 16.

Natalia Connolly from Solstice Salt Spa will speak after lunch.

Since there is no other meeting before the new year, all members are asked to bring donations of bagged wrapped candy which will be given to the teachers for all the Hardin County Schools. It is also requested that members consider donating monetary donations or socks, slippers, or underwear to all students who are clients of Helping Hands. These are only Hardin County families who will receive such items as part of their Christmas gifts.

A membership chairman and someone to help Joan Mouser as treasurer are being sought.
