HCSO Conducts Solo Officer Active Shooter Response Training

The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office used a school’s Christmas break to conduct Solo Officer Active Shooter Response Training.

That took place December 26 through the 29 last year at the Upper Scioto Valley School.  

During the training, deputies practiced tactical rapid clearing of hallways and rooms.  

The skills were then put to the test during a final force high stress drill.   

The Sheriff’s Office thanked Upper Scioto Valley Schools for allowing them to access their building while no students were present.
