Heat, Storms and Then Better Weather by the Weekend

The heat will continue today, but showers and thunderstorms are possible this afternoon that will give us a break for the upcoming holiday weekend.

Under sunny skies during the morning, the temperature will top off in the low 90’s.

Some of the storms this afternoon may contain damaging winds and large hail.

After that though, you can expect sunny skies for Friday, Saturday and Juneteenth on Sunday.

There will be a noticeable difference in the temperatures, with low 80’s on Friday, mid 70’s on Saturday and upper 70’s for Sunday.
