Hardin Northern FFA members wrapped up their winter contest season this past weekend after competing at the state contest in Columbus.

The chapter ran two teams this winter, Wildlife and General Livestock.

The Wildlife team consisted of Cassidy Crooks, Camryn Earylwine and Ginnie Mills, all senior members of the chapter. This team competed at three contests this season which helped them gain more knowledge on Wildlife throughout the contest season. The team finished their season placing 52nd out of 72 teams at the state contest.

The General Livestock team competed at two contests this winter.

Members of the team are seniors Rylie Bame and Emma Miller along with freshman, Brenna Flowers and Aiden Gatchell. All of these members are new to livestock judging so the team focused a lot on terminology and judging livestock from the ground up.

The chapter is looking forward to recognizing these teams, along with the Soil, Job Interview and Floriculture teams at their banquet on April 4th.
