The Hardin Northern juniors had a great time celebrating their success on state testing with a field trip to the National Museum of the Air Force at Wright Patterson.
A whopping 97.1% passed the American History AIR Test last spring. This field trip is an annual reward offered to Mr. Foster’s American History classes.
Team Allen secured a very close victory in the annual scavenger hunt between three groups of students racing to find exhibits ranging from as big as Air Force One to as small as a pilot’s signature on the Hanoi Taxi.
In between they discovered pieces of history such as the Memphis Belle, the Doolittle Goblets, and a recreated missile silo launch control center.
All three teams finished within 120 seconds of each other.
It’s always a great day for history!
