Indian Lake State Park and Ohio Division of Wildlife Hosting a Free Youth Fishing Derby

Indian Lake State Park and the Ohio Division of Wildlife are holding a free youth fishing derby on June 15th.

Registration will open at 9:00 on that Saturday morning at the Old Field Beach Bridge Shelter, with the derby beginning at 9:30am.

Participants should bring their own fishing poles, bait, and chairs.

The event is open to youth under 16, and they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Prizes will be awarded at the end for most fish caught and longest fish caught.
