Injury Plagued Wildcat Grapplers Lose to Celina

Kenton grapplers dropped their first dual meet of the season against the visiting Celina Bulldogs 48-18 Thursday.

The still injury plagued Wildcats only won three matches against a big Celina team.

Carter Bays keeps a great start to the season going with a pinfall at 1:22 over 160 pound Bulldog wrestler A. Kundtz. Ethan Manns (170 lbs) coming off of a shoulder injury a week ago pins B. Mullins at the 3:05 mark in the second period. Noah Eikenbary (285 LBS) also off the bench this week proving he has recovered for an injury wins by pin fall over C. Thomson at the 3:15.

With the win Eikenbary secured his place in Kenton wrestling history to be the first kenton wrestler to earn 100 career varsity wins. With most of his senior season still to come Noah has the opportunity the achieve many more of his goals. Eikenbary is a 3 year district Qualifier and a 2018 -19 state qualifier.
