The Ohio Department of Health Interim Director signed an order Tuesday evening that reopens county fairs and animal exhibitions with exceptions.
The order states that every effort should be made to preserve the Junior Fair competitions and exhibits, was well as open class events and competitions.
County fairs are permitted to reopen within the State of Ohio, but all safety standards must be met.
Fair boards and managers should conduct the fair in a manner that discourages a large gathering of people on the midway and other parts of the fairgrounds.
One way traffic in buildings and other areas should be established where possible.
Hand sanitizer and sanitizing products should also be supplied for employees and customers.
