Kathy M. (Reese) Crowe 57 of Kenton
Visitation for Kathy M. (Reese) Crowe will be held from 4:00 PM till 8:00 PM at The First Baptist Church in Kenton on Thursday, July 2, 2020. Following cremation there will be a Celebration of Life at The First Baptist Church in Kenton with Pastor Craig Mansfield and B.J. Thomson officiating. This will be held at a later date. The Price – McElroy Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Kathy went to her Heavenly home on Friday, June 26, 2020 after a long battle with breast cancer. She passed away at home, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born to Ron and Jeanne (Hayes) Reese on December 12, 1962 and they survive in Kenton.
She is also survived by her daughter; Hillary (CJ Golden) (Crowe) Turner of Kenton, her sister; Kristin (Stan Loop) Reese of Parkdale, OR, her dear life long friend; Jacqueline Stephenson and her sons; Andrew (Danielle) Stephenson of Marysville, Jacob (Shar) E. Stephenson of Faulkton, SD, and Phillip (Beth) Stephenson of Ellendale, ND. Grandchildren; Rosalie, Coy and Cambri, and Hadley and Breckyn Stephenson.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother: Audrey Reese and her maternal grandparents; Virgil and Kathleen Hayes.
Kathy followed in her mother’s footsteps as a Registered Nurse for 35 years. Kathy helped bring hundreds of babies into the world. She worked for 17 years in Home Health caring for countless patients in their homes. She loved being a nurse.
Kathy loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She thoroughly enjoyed singing his praises with the Choir and Praise and Worship team at First Baptist Church in Kenton.
She was an AVID fan of the University of Tennessee Lady Volunteer basketball team. She traveled to Knoxville, Tenn for many games since 2001 as she was able.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Not By Choice Outreach or Hardin County Relay for Life.
We will think of you every time it snows and especially at Christmas time, Kathy.
