KCS Following CDC COVID Protocols

The Kenton City School District is following the recommended Centers for Disease Control (CDC) protocols for the 2022-2023 school year. 

The updated COVID protocol for Kenton City Schools is:

If there is a positive person in your household, your student or students may still come to school as long as they are not symptomatic. 

If your student is COVID positive, they are out of school for 5 days from the test date. 

If they retest within those 5 days and are negative, they may return early. 

Retesting is not required to return to school after 5 days.
