Kenton High School Boys Varsity Soccer beat the Defiance Bulldogs 4-0 Tuesday.
The Cats moved to 6-0-2 (2-0-1 WBL).
With the win the Cats now have 6 clean skates on the season.
Asher Bridenstine started the scoring when he scored off a corner kick from Nick Anderson. A few minutes later Nick Anderson converted a Pk to double the lead. Later in the half Nick Anderson found Colby Wuay for goal #3. In the 2nd half Colby Quay found Trevor Brown for the lone score. Brent Rader and Devin Miller combined for the shutout. Kenton outshot defiance 15-4 in the contest and had 8 corners on the evening.
Kenton is back in action Thursday when they travel to Bluffton to play the #3 state ranked team in division 3.
The JV Cats defeated Defiance 2-0 and move to 5-1 (2-1 WBL).
Parker Rarey had a brace to lead Kenton. Assists went Troy Brown and Ethan Yoder. Devin Miller recorded the shutout.
They play again Thursday at 5 in Bluffton.
