Kenton City Council Member Patti Risner Passes Away

The City of Kenton is mourning the loss of a City Council member.

Patti Risner passed away this past Sunday October 10 at Vancrest in Ada.

She held a Council at Large seat for several years having been reelected three times.

Funeral services will start at 3 this Thursday (October 14) afternoon at Abundant Life Assembly of God Church, 1010 East Franklin Street in Kenton.

Friends and family may visit 2 hours prior to the service at the church.

Patti Risner was 70 years old.

She was remembered fondly at Monday evening’s Kenton City Council meeting with a number of council members and Mayor Lynn Webb expressing condolences.
