Kenton City Council’s 4th Regular Session of 2024

Kenton City Council met for their 4th regular session of 2024 Monday evening. During the proceedings two ordinances and a resolution were passed.

Ordinance 24-004 allows for additional appropriations and transferring of funds so the city can fix a traffic light pole that was struck on the corner of Detroit and Franklin.

Ordinance 24-005 allows the city to enter into a highway improvement project with ODOT. The city will be extending and filling gaps of the sidewalk network along Columbus Street from Broadway to the Kenton Station Senior Villas. This project begins in September of 2026.

Resolution 003-24 allows Kenton City Schools to prepare and execute, on behalf of the city, an application for Safe Routes to School funds through ODOT.
