Kenton City Schools Board of Education Approves 19 Authorizations/Resolutions

During last night’s meeting, the Board recognized four retirees that have severed Kenton city schools. Cheryl Hiller with 38 years, Vickie Warmbrod with 35 years, George Wyndham with 27 years and Dennis Sprang with 16 years. It was also mentioned that the retirees will be receiving the Golden Apple award as well.

 

It was noted that the income tax was up a little for the fourth quarter collection but in the future, it should be expected that COVID-19 will take its effect on it.

 

The Board approved 19 authorizations and resolutions those of which included approving the Washinton D.C. trip for grades 8 and 9 for May 11-15 of 2021, approving the 5-year forecast, and approving the tentative graduation list of 106 Kenton Seniors.  The board also approved 9 transfers for the 20-21 school year as well as 3 maternity leaves.

 

There will be a special hiring meeting on June 1st at 7 P.M.

The next meeting of the Kenton City Board of Education will be on June 15th at 7 P.M.
