The Kenton City Schools has changed the start date for Phase II of the reopening plan to September 21st. Superintendent Jennifer Penczarski hopes to start face-to-face instruction five days a week for families who have chosen the school-based pathway.

According to a release, if the county is yellow or orange based on the Ohio Public Health Advisory System, students in grades 1 through 12 will be attending class five days a week. If the county’s status is red or purple, Kenton City Schools will follow the hybrid of remote model.

Families with students in preschool and kindergarten will receive word about classes when it becomes available.
