Kenton City Schools will remain online-only through December 18.

The decision comes after the positive tests of employees at the elementary and middle school and a high-school student.

In her release to the community, Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Penczarski states that the district will re-evaluate its situation over Winter Break and make an announcement as soon as possible.

Dr. Penczarski added that no changes have been made to current operational standards for athletics and extracurriculars, and help with tutoring and other accommodations may be facilitated with the relevant building principal.

Further information may be found by contacting Mindy Hensel at the Wildcat Health Clinic.
