Kenton Eagles Makes Donation to NBC Outreach

Kenton Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2163 recently made a donation to Not By Choice Outreach.

NBC is a free service offering head coverings, wigs, gas cards and other support services to those suffering from cancer related treatments.

This year’s donation is dedicated in the memory of Jerry Messenger who passed away in January after a battle with cancer.

Jerry served as Worthy Secretary of the Kenton FOE for the past three years.

Megan Messenger Byers Assistant Secretary Kenton FOE presents a check for $53,000 to Brandi Rowe CEO of NBC in her fathers honor. These funds are generated by charitable instant bingo and electronic bingo play at the Aerie.

The Fraternal Order of Eagles official motto is “People Helping People”. The Kenton Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2163 is celebrating 90 years of helping people in Kenton and Hardin County.
