With Halloween just around the corner, the Kenton-Hardin Health Department offered some tips on keeping you safe as you celebrate.
Safe activities at home are watching spooky movies, creating a scavenger hunt, dressing up and sharing photos and hosting an online party.
Less safe activities include trick or treating. If your child does, make sure they wear a face covering, avoid crows, use hand sanitizer and wash hands before eating.
If you hand out candy, you should use a table to distribute the treats.
You should beware of unsafe activities such as large gatherings, indoor events, haunted attractions and hayrides.
