Kenton-Hardin Health Department Offers Tips for Safe Grilling

The Kenton-Hardin Health Department offered tips designed to keep the public safe over the 4th of July holiday.


That included advice on grilling safely.


Five steps to grilling safety included:


.using gas and charcoal barbecue grills outside only


.position grills 3 feet from siding and branches


.keep children and pets at least 6 feet away


.never add charcoal or starter fluid when coals are ignited


.supervise your grill when in use.
