Kenton High School’s Homecoming events are set to begin on Monday, September 16th with multiple events planned throughout the week to celebrate.
There will be themed dress days throughout the week, and they will hold their annual bonfire on Wednesday, September 18th behind Robinson Field.
A pep rally will be held on Friday, September 20th at 2:00pm in the KHS gym for students to attend with the Homecoming parade beginning at 6:00pm that evening.
The parade will Start at Kenton First Methodist Church and proceed south on North Wayne Street and then head east on Columbus Street to the Kenton Middle School.
Parade attendees will kick off with the JROTC Color Guard followed by the Wildcat Battalion, the Kenton High School Band, and KHS cheerleaders, and KHS and KMS fall athletic teams and FFA Chapter.
Last year’s Homecoming Queen, Emily Pees, will highlight the parade while KCS retired superintendent, Doug Roberts, will serve as Grand Marshall.
The Homecoming dance will be held on Saturday, September 21st from 8:00pm until 11:00pm in the KHS gym.
