A juvenile was arrested Monday after allegedly making threats on social media against staff and students of the Kenton High School.
The Kenton Police Department received reports about the threats and notified school officials.
Shortly after, KPD notified the school that an arrest was made.
The high school student is facing charges of aggravated menacing and inducing panic and remains in custody.
In a release, school officials stated that all threats are taken seriously.
They are asking parents to talk about the seriousness of threats of this nature.
