The Kenton Lions Club held its regular meeting this week at the Kenton Elks.
Hardin County Commissioner Roger Crowe thanked members for taking down the veteran’s banners around town.
The guest speakers were Kenton Mayor Lynn Webb and Safety Service Director Cindy Murray, who talked about the current revitalization of the city’s downtown.
The Mayor shared how the project planning and seeking of funds started ten years ago and grant money that was available.
Both Webb and Murray addressed the members’ questions regarding water billing, property enforcement for trash and weeds and the trash voucher program.
