Kenton Lions Conduct July Meeting

Lions Meeting July 19, 2023

The Kenton Lions club held its meeting on Wednesday July 19, 2023, at the Kenton Elks.

The meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm by Lion President Lion Jason VanBuskirk with 19 members and 1 guests present.

President Lion Jason VanBuskirk led with the pledge and the prayer.

The meeting was adjourned and reconvened at 7:00 pm following a meal.

President Lion Jason VanBuskirk shared that Kenton Lions received a patch from the State Global Membership Growth Team recognizing Kenton Lions being District 1st Place in Net Membership Growth.

Updates were provided by President Lion Jason VanBuskirk on the Pioneer Park project.

Lion Tracy Anderson provided updates on the Kenton Lions Club Fundraiser Golf Scramble. It will be held on September 16th, 2023. Registration will begin at 9:00 am with Shotgun Start at 10:00 am.

One new member was approved. Welcome to new member Jason Howe, sponsored by Lion Gary Whitmer.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:55 pm. Followed by the singing of the Lions Roar.

50/50 drawing was won by Lion Todd Oates.
