Kenton Man Changes Plea After Indictment on 29 counts of Rape and Three Counts Each of Gross Sexual Imposition, Kidnapping and Sexual Battery

A rural Kenton man changed his plea on four counts of a 38- count indictment last week in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.

52- year- old Brian Richardson pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual battery and one count of gross sexual imposition.

He was arrested in September of 2023 after being indicted on 29 counts of rape and three counts each of gross sexual imposition, kidnapping and sexual battery.

The remaining charges of the indictment were dismissed.

Richardson could be sentenced to up to 60 months in prison on each count, which could be ordered to be served consecutively.

The sentencing date was set for June 13.
