A Kenton man is facing charges after a traffic stop conducted by Kenton police Monday night.
According to the report, officers stopped a car on South Leighton Street near Park Avenue.
The driver, identified as 34 year old Daniel Murphy, was issued a citation for driving under suspension and driving on the wrong side of the road.
The report stated that a narcotics trained canine alerted on the vehicle and a search uncovered suspected illegal narcotics.
Officers seized a plastic vial containing a crystal-like substance consistent with methamphetamine, a plastic baggy containing what appeared to look and smell like marijuana, a marijuana cigarette and a cigarette pack containing a rubber glove with .38 special ammunition inside.
Additional charges have not been filed, and the incident remains under investigation.
