A Kenton man was injured and is facing several charges after a crash involving multiple vehicles in Arlington on Thursday.

According to a release from the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, 26 year old John R. Drumm was traveling south on US 68 in the village when he attempted to pass a vehicle being operated by 27 year old Ashley Winters, of Findlay, who was attempting to turn into a business.

After colliding with Winter’s car, Drumm fled the scene at a high rate of speed, and when he attempted to pass a southbound semi his vehicle was struck by a northbound semi.

The collision pushed his vehicle into the trailer of the semi he attempted to pass and it was struck by another northbound semi.

Drumm was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay for treatment of injuries.

Winters and the three semi operators were not injured.

Drumm was cited for improper passing and leaving the scene of an accident in the first crash and operating a vehicle under the influence and passing in a no passing zone in the second crash.
