Kenton Man Pleads Guilty to Arson Fire Charges

A Kenton man pleaded guilty last week to several charges just prior to the start of a jury trial in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.

 

According to documents filed in the Hardin County Clerk of Courts Office:

 

32 year old Dustin Cannode pleaded guilty to three counts of aggravated arson and one count of arson.

 

The charges are in connection to several arson fires from April of 2018.

 

Four fires were set at homes on Leighton, Walnut, Tracey and Leonard Streets. Two of the homes were occupied, but there were no injuries.

 

Cannode will be sentenced at 9am Wednesday September 18 in Common Pleas Court.
