Kenton Man Seriously Injured in Thursday Afternoon Crash

A Kenton man was seriously injured in a crash that occurred Thursday afternoon on State Route 309 at County Road 175 just east of Kenton.

 

According to a release from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, 24 year old Corey Chrisman drove from 175 onto 309, and his car was struck on the driver’s side by a semi being operated by 28 year old Garth Pearson, of Coldwater.

 

Chrisman was entrapped in the vehicle and suffered serious injuries. He was transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital and was transferred by Life Flight helicopter to Grant Medical Center in Columbus.

 

Pearson was not injured.

 

Assisting at the scene were the Kenton Police and Fire Departments, BKP Ambulance and Osborn’s and Big Daddy’s Towing.

 

The crash remains under investigation.
