Kenton Mayor Lynn Webb took to social media Thursday to assure residents that despite closing city buildings to the public as an effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus, the government is still up and running, and services are being provided.

On the City of Kenton Government Facebook page, the Mayor said, “Our first responders, our police department, our water department, our wastewater treatment plant are up and running, and they are providing your services without interruption. We are ready. We have backup, so rest easy on that. We’re taking care of that.”
