Kenton Rotary Hears from Member of Dunkirk Garden Club

Kenton Rotary welcomed Donna Price from the Dunkirk Garden Club at Monday’s meeting.
She explained that the club was founded in 1953 with 12 members, and today the group has 22 members.
The club has an annual plant sale that supports a scholarship given to a Hardin Northern student.
To date, they have awarded over $11,000 in scholarships and in 2023 they awarded $2500.
The group also takes care of plantings around Dunkirk and the beds at Hardin Northern School.
In September, they will have a booth in the Arts and Crafts Building at the Hardin County Fair.
