Kenton Rotary heard from the Outreach Coordinator of the Mary Lou Johnson Hardin County District Library at a recent meeting.
Mary Gallo gave an overview of the services offered at the library for individuals who are homebound or cannot come to the library for whatever reason.
Gallo delivers books, movies and programming to homes and assisted care facilities to help enrich their lives.
She also talked about the Books for Blind program.
It is for people who suffer from severe vision loss or inability to hold a book.
They are eligible to receive a special reader and books sent to their home for free.
The program is in partnership with the State Library of Ohio and the Cleveland Library for the Blind.
