Kenton Rotary was recently joined by write-in candidate for Hardin County Commissioner, Michelle Laubis.
Mrs. Laubis grew up in Hardin County and graduated from Ridgemont schools. After high school she ventured out West to Colorado and moved around a bit but could never find the values she had grown up with and held true.
In 2006, Michelle moved back to Hardin County, got married, and was a stay-at-home mother of 4 when she decided to run for County Commissioner in April of this year.
Since April, Michelle has started a modest campaign and has been working to gain knowledge about the county and how it works, so that once elected she will not waste any time on getting to work.
Michelle’s campaign focuses on transparency in government, putting in the hard work on strategic planning, infrastructure and businesses for the future of Hardin County.
