The Kenton City Schools Board of Education will conduct the October meeting this evening.

The Board is expected to approve a resolution to terminate the contract of Bus Driver Glenn T. (Chris) Horner effective immediately.

On the agenda, the Board outlined a number of items showing Horner engaged in a repeated pattern of misconduct during his employment.

The most recent incident was on September 8 when Horner is said to have dropped off the volleyball team for a match at Celina and then drove to Lima, failed to return in time, and stranded the team for more than a hour without transportation.

There are also several other personnel items on the agenda, including the approval of a list of substitute positions.

As part of the meeting, Kenton High School Principal Jason Jones and JROTC Master Sergeant David Clifford with students Patrick Cannode and Sadie Larrabee will present a report to Board members.

The meeting will start at 7 this evening in the Administration Building.
