Kenton Shuts Down Defiance in Boys Soccer Game Tuesday

The Wildcats came out on fire against Defiance on Tuesday evening and scored 7 first half goals on their way to a 9-0 WBL victory.

With the win the Cats move to 6-1-1 (2-1 WBL) on the season.

Hunter LaRue led the way with a hat trick, Patrick Bartlett and Reed Cook followed with 2 goals and KP Miller and Nick Anderson each had 1 goal.

Reed Cook led the way with 5 assists, Nick Anderson delivered 2, and Hunter LaRue and Gus Forester each had 1. Brent Rader picked up the 5th shutout on the season with 2 saves.

The JV Cats improved to 5-0 on the season with a 5-0 win over Arlington.

Leading the way for the Cats were Wyatt Gerlach, Kyle Kirk, Parker Rarey, Colby Quay and Trent Yoder who all had goals for the Cats. Notching assists for Kenton were Brady Cameron and Colby Quay. Devin Miller picked up his 5th shutout of the season.

The JV Cats are back in action tomorrow night with a 6pm home match against Ben Logan.

Both teams play at home on Saturday against Bluffton with jv kicking off at 5 and varsity at 7.
