The City of Kenton submitted a comprehensive lead line inventory for over 3,200 properties as part of its commitment to comply with EPA regulations.

By November 15th, property owners will receive a letter regarding the status of their water service line.

This includes details about whether lines contain lead, galvanized materials, or if the material is currently unknown.

You’ll be notified if your property has lead or galvanized lines.

If your line is marked as unknown, the city is working on identifying these materials.

If your lines are made of plastic, brass, or copper, you won’t receive a letter.

No action is required from property owners right now, and for any questions, reach out to the Kenton Water Treatment Plant at 419-673-0175 or visit the EPA’s website for more information.
