Kenton Teen Facing Charges Connected to Bringing Gun onto School Property

An 18 year old Kenton resident is facing charges connected to bringing a gun on Kenton City School property this week.

According to documents filed in Hardin County Municipal Court, Landon Christopher Kitchen was charged with 2 counts of illegal conveyance or possession of a deadly weapon in a school safety zone and one count of receiving stolen property, all felonies of the fifth degree.

The incident allegedly occurred Wednesday while school was not in session for Spring Break.

Kitchen is scheduled to be arraigned in Municipal Court Tuesday April 9 at 9am.
