Kenton Volleyball Team Defeats Hardin Northern in Straight Sets

The Kenton Lady Wildcats Volleyball team got out to a fast start and held off a game Hardin Northern team to win in straight sets.

Kenton won 25-18, 25-18 and 25-23.

The Lady Cats were aided by great serving efforts from Carly Dearing, Erin Lyons, and Brynn Butler.

Kenton was also able to turn their solid defense into an aggressive attack. Lindsey Smith and Erin Lyons led the Wildcats’ offense. It was a great team effort and hard fought win.

The JV Lady Cats earned a hard fought win 2 sets to 1 over Hardin Northern, while the Freshman Lady Cats dropped their match in 3 tough sets.
