Kenton Woman Reports Identity Fraud

A Kenton woman reported an incident of identity fraud to Kenton Police over the weekend.

According to the report, the victim said someone gained access to the information on her child support debit card and made numerous charges dating back to February.

She said some of the initial charges were in small amounts and went unnoticed until over the weekend she checked her online account and had been emptied. Many of the charges were made at out of state locations where she has not been.

Around $600 in charges were made on the account.

The incident is under investigation.
