A minor fire was reported at Scioto Signs Tuesday evening.
According to information from the Kenton Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched at just before 5 to the facility on U.S. 68 around five miles north of Kenton.
Upon arrival nothing was showing, but light smoke was found in the building.
The fire was traced back to shrubs in the front of the building that spread to a roof overhang.
The building was checked and it was determined that the fire was contained to the outside.
The inside was ventilated to clear the smoke.
The exact cause was not determined and remains under investigation.
