KHHD Encourages Flu Shot, Hand-Washing

Kenton-Hardin Health Department reminds listeners that this is the middle of both National Influenza Awareness Week and National Handwashing Awareness Week.

Per their release on Facebook, the health department advises Hardin County residents who have not gotten a flu shot already to do so, as lowering the risk of flu conserves medical resources pushed to scarcity by the pandemic.

Protection from coronavirus, flu, and other diseases is also provided by 20 seconds of hand-scrubbing with soap and water, especially after coughing, sneezing, or nose-blowing.
