Advanced Art students from Kenton High School traveled to Columbus before Christmas break.
The students spent the morning at Glass Axis learning about the fine art of glassblowing.
After a demonstration, each student worked one-on-one with a skilled artisan to create a blown glass ornament.
The afternoon was spent touring Columbus College of Art & Design.
Students explored art and installations in the gallery and learned about a variety of the art majors offered.
The trip was paid for through a generous grant from the Ohio Arts Council.
