There will be a penny stall taking place during Kenton High School’s next spirit week February 5 through the 9.
A penny stall is when you bring in as many pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters as possible and have your teacher count them.
It’s called a stall, because class doesn’t start until all the money is counted, so if it takes the whole period, there is no class.
The students are allowed to stall these periods on these dates:
Monday Feb 5: 5th period
Tuesday Feb 6: 1st and 8th
Wednesday Feb 7: 2nd and 7th
Thursday Feb 8: 3rd and 6th
Friday Feb 9: 4th
The top class period that raises the most money will get a prize.
All proceeds will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House, which provides comfort, care, and support for families with children who are sick around the world.
