KHS Mourning Death of Student; In Separate Incident Principal Reports Student Brings a Gun to School

Kenton High School students, staff and parents were informed today about the death of a student.

The junior at the High School died at his home this week. 

The high school clinical counselor will be at the school when they  return from Spring break on Wednesday April 10.

In an unrelated incident, a Kenton HIgh School student showed a gun to some other students on school property on the last day before Spring Break.

The student was arrested for bringing a weapon on school grounds. 

Principal Jason Jones shared the information to keep parents informed and to discourage false rumors.
