A Kenton school bus that struck a utility pole on East Pattison Avenue Monday afternoon resulted in a power outage to some residents in the northeast section of Kenton.

 

Power went out in that area at around 1:40 and was restored around four hours later.

 

According to information from the Kenton Police Department, there were no students on the bus and there were no injuries.

 

The report on the accident has not yet been released.

A menacing by stalking incident was reported to Kenton Police on Monday.

 

According to the report, the victim went to the police station to file a complaint about telecommunications harassment and menacing by stalking.

 

She named a 33 year old Kenton man as the suspect.

 

He has not been charged at this time.

 

The incident remains under investigation.

Two Kenton men are facing charges after a traffic stop conducted by Kenton Police Monday evening.

 

According to the report, an officer conducted the traffic stop in the 200 block of East Forest Road.

 

While officers searched the vehicle, they located multiple suspected controlled substances, drug abuse instruments and an open container of alcohol.

 

The men, ages 57 and 32, are facing a felony charge of possession of drugs and a misdemeanor charge of possessing drug abuse instruments.

 

The incident remains under investigation.
