A Kenton man was arrested on a warrant Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Kenton Police Department report, 32 year old Scott Godwin was arrested at the Post Office on West Franklin Street in Kenton.

The warrant was out of Logan County.

Godwin was transferred to the custody of a deputy from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.

A Kenton woman was arrested after a traffic stop conducted by the Kenton Police Department Tuesday night.

According to the report, an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on East Ohio Street at South Wayne Street.

The driver, identified as Taylor Hoops, age 24, was later found to have an active warrant for her arrest out of the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office.

She was taken into custody on the warrant and was cited for suspended drivers license and having fictitious plates.
