KPD News from Tuesday September 22, 2020

An assault was reported to Kenton Police Tuesday evening.

According to the report, officers were dispatched to the active assault in the 600 block of South Detroit Street.

The 19 year old male victim was not injured.

A 24 year old Kenton man was listed as the suspect.

He has not yet been charged.

The incident remains under investigation.

A St. Marys man was arrested in Kenton Tuesday afternoon on a pick-up order from Auglaize County.

According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, the Auglaize County Probation Office contacted the department to arrest the suspect.

A copy of the probation pick-up order was sent by fax, and the suspect was located at a residence in Champion Court.

John Martin, age 20,  was arrested and later transferred to the custody of the Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office.
