A business in Kenton reported taking in counterfeit money on Tuesday.

According to the Kenton Police Department report, employees of Family Dollar informed officers Tuesday evening.

No other information is being released at this time, and the incident remains under investigation.

A theft was reported to Kenton Police on Tuesday.

According to the report, officers were dispatched to Forest Court Apartments in reference to the incident.

A resident named an acquaintance of hers as the suspect.

The 56 year old man has not yet been charged.

He is facing a fifth degree felony count of theft.
