A Kenton man was listed as a rape suspect in a report received by the Kenton Police Department over the weekend.

 

According to the report, the incident was reported at the police station.

 

The victim is a 37 year old Lima woman.

 

The alleged suspect is a 53 year old Kenton man, who has not yet been charged.

 

The incident remains under investigation.

Two people were arrested on warrants over the weekend in Kenton.

 

According to the Kenton Police Department report, officers were investigating an incident in the 500 block of West North Street and discovered that the individuals had active warrants for their arrest out of Allen County.

 

33 year old Alisha Wynegar, of Kenton, and 39 year old Joshua Spencer, of Lima, were both taken into custody.

 

Spencer was also served a warrant from Hardin County Municipal Court.

 

They were both transferred to the custody of the Allen County Sheriff’s Office.

A Dunkirk man was arrested after a domestic disturbance over the weekend at Forest Court Apartments.

 

According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, officers were dispatched to an apartment at the complex in reference to a domestic issue.

 

48 year old Ivan Brown was taken into custody for assault.

 

The two victims received apparent minor injuries.

A Kenton couple are facing charges after a theft at Walmart was reported over the weekend.

 

According to the report from the Kenton Police Department officers were dispatched Saturday night to Walmart in reference to a theft in progress.

 

A backpack, containing just $100 in merchandise from the store, was confiscated as evidence.

 

42 year old David Grogan and 36 year old Staci Grogan were each issued a summons for theft, criminal trespass and possessing criminal tools.

A Bellefontaine man was arrested after a theft investigation over the weekend.

 

According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, a male went to the police station and reported that he lost his wallet.

 

He advised that credit cards in the wallet were being used around town.

 

After an investigation, 35 year old Cory Gaukin was taken into custody on charges of misuse of a credit card and tampering with evidence.

A burglary was reported to Kenton police over the weekend.

 

According to the report, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of North High Street to investigate.

 

$2000 in cash was reported missing at the residence.

 

No suspects were listed on the report.

 

The incident remains under investigation.

According to the report, officers were dispatched to the 500 block of West Lima Street to investigate.

 

73 year old Ray Bolen was arrested on a charge of domestic violence.

 

The victim suffered a possible internal injury.
