Lake of Lights Offering People’s Choice Contest

The Lake of Lights committee is again offering a “PEOPLE’S CHOICE” holiday lighting display contest, to be held during the annual Lake of Lights display, November 27 – December 26, at Salisbury Park/France Lake, just west of Kenton.

The contest is open to any Hardin County business, organization, club, or church, as well as social or youth groups.

The requirements for entry are simple: displays must be set-up (between November 14 – 22), taken-down after December 26, stored by the entrant(s); can be secular or sacred; purchased, or hand-crafted, and must be family-friendly.

The Lake of Lights will furnish appropriate power cord(s) and electrical hookup for the display.

All entries will be photographed and displayed on the Lake of Lights Facebook page, where viewers can vote for their favorite.

The winning display will be awarded a plaque and bragging rights for its creator(s).
