Lakeview Woman Indicted for Aggravated Vehicular Homicide

A Lakeview woman has been indicted on charges connected to the death of a 17 year old Huntsville girl in a crash that occurred late last month.

According to a release from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, 32 year old Briana Mohler was indicted for aggravated vehicular homicide as a result of the January 25 traffic crash that claimed the life of Chloe Hodge.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office presented evidence to the Logan County Grand Jury that Mohler was driving under the influence on County Road 130 when she traveled left of center and into the path of the vehicle Hodge was driving.

Mohler was charged with one count of aggravated vehicular homicide, a first-degree felony, along with a third-degree count of involuntary manslaughter.

She was also charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs and driving under suspension. 

Her trial is set for May 13 and 14.
